Cancellation & Refund Policy
When an order or project can be cancelled, and how refunds are handled.
Last updated: 9 September 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services provided by JPKP Technologies Private Limited. It should be read with our Terms & Conditions and the written proposal, quotation or statement of work for your project (“Project Document”). JPKP Technologies provides digital services — not physical goods — so this policy is written around project work, not shipped products.
1. How our payments are structured
Most projects are invoiced in stages: an advance to begin work, one or more milestone payments during the project, and a balance before final delivery or go-live. Retainer services (for example monthly SEO or maintenance) are invoiced in advance for each period. Third-party costs — domains, hosting, paid licences, stock assets, ad spend — are either billed to you or paid by you directly.
2. Cancelling before work begins
If you cancel a project in writing before we have started work, we will refund what you have paid, less any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf and any transaction fee charged by the payment provider that is not returned to us.
3. Cancelling after work has begun
If you cancel after work has started but before completion:
- fees for work already performed up to the cancellation date are payable and are non-refundable;
- if you have paid more than the value of the work done, we refund the difference, after deducting non-recoverable third-party costs and payment-provider fees;
- we assess the proportion of work completed reasonably, based on the deliverables and effort to that point, and will share a short summary with you.
4. Completed work and delivered items
Once a deliverable has been completed and delivered, or a stage has been accepted, the fees for it are non-refundable. This includes custom design and development work, configuration, content and SEO/marketing work already carried out, and any third-party licences or assets purchased for you.
5. Retainers and subscriptions
You may cancel a retainer or recurring service with notice as set out in the Project Document (one full billing period's notice if not stated). The current period is not refunded; we complete the work for that period and do not bill the next one.
6. Client delay
If a project stalls because required content, access, approvals or feedback are not provided, we may treat it as on hold. Amounts invoiced for work completed remain payable, and re-starting later may require re-scoping.
7. If we cannot deliver
If we are unable to complete a project for reasons attributable to us, or because of an event beyond either party's reasonable control that makes completion impractical, we will refund amounts paid for work not yet performed, less non-recoverable third-party costs.
8. Problems with delivered work
If a deliverable has a reproducible defect in our work, tell us within the support period stated in the Project Document (30 days from delivery or go-live if not stated) and we will correct it at no charge, as described in our Terms & Conditions. A refund is considered only where a defect is material and we are unable to correct it within a reasonable time.
9. How to request a cancellation or refund
- Email support@jpkp.in or call +91 7988722672 with your project name / invoice number and the reason.
- We acknowledge your request and review it against this policy and your Project Document.
- If a refund is due, we confirm the amount and process it to your original payment method.
Approved refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days of agreement. The time for the amount to reach your account depends on your bank or card issuer and the payment provider.
